I am a 16 year old girl and would like to start lazer hair removal. My hairs are very thick due to previous shaving and waxing. When I asked about lazer hair removal, I was told that there is no point in starting at my age because the hair would grow back the same if not worse due to my age and hormones. Is this true?

You should go back to the clinic which performed the laser treatment. It's not possible to say for sure without seeing you in person, but there may be some folliculitis or inflammation/minor infection of the hair folllicles. A prescription for a topical antibiotic might be helpful or...
