I am interested in getting Botox injected into my masseter muscles to slim my jawline a little bit. 4 years ago I had Maxilofacial surgery to fix an underbite and have permanent titanium plates and screws to hold together my jaw. I am wondering if I am still able to receive these injections with these plates and screws? My jaw muscles are constantly tense and I’m worried that if I inject Botox to relax the muscles what if my jaw becomes weakened or something!?
