I have some skin hanging on top of the lid. I am wondering if it is gonna go away or if I really need a revision? (photos)

I feel the weigh on my lid every time I open my eyes and my eyes look very odd...I feel there is sth not right. It has been nearly 6 weeks. I know I have swelling so that's ok about symmetry but what is that thing? And it shows even more because I have a hollow on top of this skin hanging...it makes even worse. Has the doc forgotten to move fat around or forgotten to cut skin....I don't know... I would appreciate any kind of insight... Thank you.

But after 6 weeks it is still a fresh result, things may improve a lot. Give it time, 6 months, and if still unhappy do go for another skin removal.

6 weeks is too early to see the final result. Having said this, the fold (if it continues to remain) could be because you have excess skin which we all develop as we get older or you have hollowness- it depends what was done at the time of surgery. If the problem is one of excess skin it can be easily removed under local anaesthetics but if it is one of needing more volume would consider providing more volume either with filler or fat, obviously approached with caution. Your surgeon will guide your recovery so continue the conversation with him/her.

Hi Patiho,Based from your photos, you have hollowness above the fold which cannot be corrected by revision eyelid surgery, but may be improved by fat transfer or filler.
