How should I tell my dentist that I’m not happy with my composite veneers?

I just got them done less than a week ago and I’m not happy with how they look at all. I kinda want my old teeth back, these ones have gaps and just don’t look right.

I always encourage my patients to be interactive, to voice their concerns or to give me any feedback  they may have.  At the end of the day, we want to meet our patients' expectations and for them to be happy.  I would definitely follow up with your dentist and ask him/her to make any necessary changes, adjustments or repairs, and discuss other possible alternatives if you are not happy.  Good luck!

As a patient you certainly should communicate directly with your doctor and discuss how your concern can be addressed. It may be the case that lab fabricated porcelain veneers may be the way to go for you in order to get a more ideal result. There is nothing with being honest and forthright with your treating doctor. The work has already been performed and the time spent, as such, you may have to absorb that cost, but one solution you can suggest to your doctor is whether they would consider crediting the cost of the composite veneers towards your new porcelain lab veneers in order to help you out, it's a win-win situation if your doctor agrees to this arrangement.
