Can't close my lips naturally, overbite issue due to veneers placed straight on slightly inverted teeth. What can be done?(photo)

Asked By:abbytos in Australia, AU

I had 3 veneers and a crown done on my 4 front teeth 3 weeks ago. The issue now is that I can't close my lips naturally, they hit my lower lip and they are big. My original teeth were crooked and small and slightly invert but these new ones are placed straight. The dentist said that they do follow the gum line. He tried to reduce the bulkiness of the veneers and the length but I still can't fully close my lips naturally and I am still biting my lip. Many Thanks
