Breast Augmentation from C to DDD or E?

You are taller than average, and you are wanting to be quite large, so you are are going to need a large implant. Silicone has the advantages of feeling more natural and has less risk of rippling or wrinkling. I recommend trying on the implants with a sports bra to help you determine the final size. Good luck!

Hi,At your height, I think you are on the right track as you do have the frame to carry the volume you are considering .  That volume on a smaller frame would potentially create a disproportiate result.For me the key is to use a sizing system prior to surgery to give the patient a firm idea of what the result of surgery is likely to achieve.This would be my advice to you and all patients, to help decide what volume will give them the result they are afterI hope that is of some help  

Hi, it is unclear if you've already had a consultation with a plastic surgeon?  It is not possible to recommend implants of a specific volume based on your description.   During a consultation a plastic surgeon will take into consideration your goals, but also your breast anatomy to determine which implants are appropriate.

Hello there Silicone gel implants generally give a superior result for most patients .In my hands, selection of implant size is done after careful measurement of the breast and with the use of implant sizers and the Vectra 3D imaging system .Bra size is impossible to predict but the techniques mentioned above will give you the best visual guide to the likely outcome .The amount of breast tissue you currently have will affect your final bra size , but do remember that bras vary enormously from brand to brand and having a variation of a cup size on either side is quite common .CheersTS

It is best to seek the opinion of a qualified professional when determining which size of implant will be best for you. Its difficult to provide you with advice in the absence of photographs or a personal consultation.   Its also really important to understand that their is no correlation between implant and cup size.  A 500CC implant my offer a patient with lots of existing breast tissue a DD cup while a patient with minimal breast tissue may only achieve a C cup.  Your final cup size will depend on many factors including your current size, existing breast tissue as well as breast measurements.  Silicon gel implants will likely be your best option for achieving a very full result.  I like to use a sizing system for my patients so they on themselves in front of a mirror they can see what they will look like with various sizes of implants.  I find this is more useful than digital imaging techniques in giving you a good indication of how you will look.  Arrange a consultation with a fully qualified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.  

The interpretation of breast cup size is highly variable and different women will see sizes quite differently. But to go from a C cup to an DDD or E cup would seem that implants of 500 to 600c size may be inadequate. It would be important for you to do some in office sizing to make sure you have a good understanding of the effect that different sized implants have.

I guess technically your goals are very achievable, but I would be very hesitant going that big that quickly.But yes it can be done.Each 130-150cc of implant volume equates to around 1 cup size. ( this is data that I am about to publish based on Australian bra manufacturers)Definitely use silicone implants, they are far superior to saline implants.I hope this helps and good luck.

If you are very athletic, a very large implant may not be the best choice. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and trying on a variety of sizes so you can see the size and feel the weight.
