My height is 175 cm & 74 kg - current cup size is a full b or empty - size is a 12 Au although 14 chest wise again Australian sizes - I'm having surgery in 4 days and having brazillians max unders 440cc - dr is also doing a lift - I asked for a full breast and size wise DD ( so he had an idea of what wa in my head - I know he can't determine cup size ) - I was concerned that this may not be a big enough implant - so confusing - 1 lady had 410 cc and was huge and an E - they looked amazing - another was barely a c with same implant -
Answer: Pick the Implant You Like
Trying on sizers in a bra prior to surgery is a must. That way the patient has an idea. I have sizers for every implant I place. Submuscular placement will reduce the apparent size by about 50 cc. In general, 200 to 250 cc will increase most women by one cup.

Answer: Best Breast Implant Size/Profile for Me?
Thank you for the question.
As you can imagine, despite your good description of body type and goals, it is not possible to give you precise advice online.
The best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals.
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “very natural” or “DD cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate.
3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery.
I hope this helps.

Answer: Choosing the right breast implant
Choosing the right size of breast implants is a challenge. The same implant in two patients can give very different results. Body size and breast tissue are major factors in determining the ultimate breast size after augmentation. Givern you size and the amount of breast tissue that you have I would expect that the implant that you have selected is in the right ball park.
It is important that you communicate with your plastic surgeon clearly before the surgery to insure that what you have in mind size wise is what he/she feels they can provide.

Answer: Breast implant size. It is very difficult to give suggestions on breast implant size without a personal exam. The same size implant will look different on everyone and cannot be used as a guide. Show your surgeon photos of the size and look you like and let him find the implant that works well. Using measurements preoperatively can also be of assistance. Good luck.
