Do you require patients to remove facial piercings out during breast surgery? (photos)

I have a breast reduction planned for next week. I have 2 nose piercings and a dermal face piercing that would required surgical removal. Do you usually have to take facial piercings out?

Thank you for your pictures. In my opinion, this nipple and skin necrosis resulting in a large wound. You need to have this debrided to allow for complete healing over the next several months.  Good luck

Based on your photos, a vertical breast lift with a small reduction of sagging breast tissue and a submusclar implant should deliver a nice cosmetic result. I've linked a photoset similar to your anatomy.

Thank you for your pictures.  It would be unusual to have a hematoma this far out.  Only a physical exam can differentiate a hematoma from an area of fat necrosis.  Please keep close follow up with your plastic surgeon.Good luck.

 pigmentation of the nipple and areolar can definitely be  affected by breast reduction surgery. Typically the color stays about the same but the stress of surgery can alter the color. It can appear darker or lighter. This is hard to judge when this or if this will occur.
