This question is impossible to answer with a single photograph of this type. It would appear at first blush to be a N3 hairline (receding only in the corners) But without the front hair pulled back and without a look at the top and crown, one cannot rule out a 3V or 4. I hope this helps.

Dutasteride is stronger, so probably just shedding. If you wait, you should see regrowth of those hairs. I don't think it is causing more hair loss.

We don’t have any good evidence this particular medication can cause androgenetic alopecia although it may cause telogen effluvium in a small proportion. TE would not be responsive to 5 alpha reductase inhibitors although androgenetic alopecia would. Be sure to see a specialist for proper e...
