Can switching from Finasteride to Dutasteride make hairloss worse or cause shedding?

Recently switched from Finasteride to Dutasteride 4 months ago and my hair loss/thinning is worse than ever when just 2 months ago my hair was the best it ever looked. Is it possible that this is just a shedding phase or can Dutasteride be making my hairloss worse?

It would be extremely unusual for a switch from Finasteride to Dutasteride to cause a shed. You need a complete consultation as their is probably some other process occurring. At least rule out other possibilities. These days, Covid would be the most common.

Dutasteride is stronger, so probably just shedding.  If you wait, you should see regrowth of those hairs.  I don't think it is causing more hair loss.
