How much does it cost to remove a forehead osteoma? (Photo)

I am a healthy female, age 47, no known illness, or health issues. This lump presented about 2-3 years ago and has not changed change in size over the past year. I would like to see the cost for removal. I'm open to the more affordable options of non general anesthesia since I am paying out of pocket. I have a unique way of removing these under local anesthesia with a small file avoiding a scar on the forehead  The advantage is that the cost is low, about $3,000 total. If you do some research on this you will find the paper  I published on the technique. Otherwise it could be triple the cost

Removing lesions of the forehead under local anesthesia costs between $800-$1,000. However, if this is bony then local anesthesia will not effective and you will need general anesthesia. You will need an ultrasound or skull series to document whether this is truly bony or not.
