I’ve had my breast implants for 6 months. I noticed they are extremely spaced apart. I am also starting to notice that it’s not just when I’m lying down. This absolutely bothers me, because my chest doesn’t look as full as I was hoping it to and because of the large gap, I feel like there is no volume. All the volume seems to shifted to the sides. Sometimes I notice in clothing or dresses it feels like I have virtually NO cleavage because of the gap. I have 380cc motiva smoothsilk demi implants. . I’m 5’7” and about 120lbs. Is there anything I can do or tell my surgeon?

based on your description, it sounds like you're experiencing lateral implant displacement with a wide intermammary gap, which can occur if the implant pockets were dissected too far laterally or if your natural anatomy includes a wider sternum. At six months post-op, this may be addressed through a revision procedure such as medial capsulorrhaphy to narrow the pocket and improve cleavage. We can also consider switching to a higher-profile implant to enhance central fullness.
