Hello. I have seen two orthos for my open bite. It affects my eating when I have to bit into things. One says to see a tongue therapist for my tongue thrust and braces. The other thinks my tongue thrust is secondary and probably did not cause my open bite. He wants to do TADS and braces. I can't afford surgery. I want to fix my bite and have a high chance of retention. Is my bite severe (classification)? Any idea why the other suggested tads? Should I even fix it, if so, which option? Thanks!
