5 months post Infini RF. Vertical lines are visible on neck and skin is now looser than before. Can this be fixed? (photos)

Question

I am 45 yo, light skinned, BMI 21. I had some fat and loose skin under my chin and I was told Infini RF would fix this. I am 5.5 months post treatment and I have verticle lines that look like track marks all over my neck and the skin under my chin is looser than before the Infini. I'm embarrassed of how I look now. Can this be fixed? Please help.

The problem you have is quite a common one in active cosmetic dermatology practices. I have found that the use of an appropriately robust HA filler can be injected in such a manner as to pull the skin more taut and the injection of an HA skin booster or Profhilo (where available) in a grid pattern across the central portio of the neck can work to nonsurgically achieve the kind of improvement sought here. You would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and be wary of offers for the use of other so-called energy-based or light-based devices, as the hard science to promote the use of these devices, as you have found out the hard way, lags woefully behind the heavy marketing hype that surrounds these kinds of "bells and whistles." Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.
