I was wondering if I should get electrolysis or laser hair removal for a unibrow?

I shaved my unibrow a few a years ago and it never grew back right. The hairs have actually grown very thick and black. I've heard laser hair removal only makes hairs thinner while electrolysis actually permanently removes the hairs? I'm an 18 year old lightskinn male. This has been a serious issue I've been struggling with and I'm really looking for a solution

Electrolysis is somewhat better than plucking the hair.   Laser hair removal can result in a permanent solution but is not as precise and you may end up with an unusual and unequal shape to you eyebrows. If you pluck the eyebrows you can shape them the way you want.  Find someone who is experienced at eyebrow shaping and your long term result will be satisfactory.W MORE

Thank you for your question. Electrolysis is a little better then plucking the hair. However, laser hair removal is a more permanent solution but is not precise and you may end up with an unusual shape to your brows. Plucking the brows allows you to shape them the way you want. I recommend finding someone who is experienced at eyebrow shaping and you should be satisfied with the result. Best of Luck!

Hello, thank you for your question.  Laser hair removal is a series of treatments, usually 6-8 done 4 weeks apart in this area.  Laser hair removal cannot guarantee 100% removal forever, you may need to have occasional touch-up.  Electrolysis can be very effective as well.  The ability of the laser to precisely remove unwanted hair is limited to the round spot size. Electrolysis is done 1 hair follicle at a time and can be done in a way to enhance/shape your brows.  Both are good options.Good Luck!
