Will retainers correct my buck teeth?

I got my braces off a few days ago and my two front teeth are still noticeably protruding. This means that the mold that was made, the one the retainers will be based off, also has buck teeth. If the retainers are fitted to this mold, will they still correct my buck teeth? Or will they just follow how the teeth were when removed?

There will be zero change in alignment of teeth with retainers.  If you don't like the placement of teeth now, you never will.

You may want to discuss with your orthodontist on the possibilities of a retainer correcting the protrusion which will be dependent on the amount of protrusion.
