Left breast tightness and soreness near incision. It's been over a year since surgery. Any thoughts on this?

Hello, I had breast augmentation over a year and a half ago and for the last 4 days I’ve been experiencing tightness, soreness near the incision and some Itchiness on my left breast. Any thoughts on this? It’s been over a year since my surgery so I’m a little concerned.

Hopefully, you have not had any recent dental work with no antibiotics prescribed before this began happening. You might check with your plastic surgeon to see if a capsule is trying to develop.

New symptoms are not expected a year after surgery.  It may be a local irritation or you strained the area.  If it persists  or worsens visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing left breast tightness and soreness near the incision over a year since surgery. There is no way to provide you with a diagnosis and or treatment options without an examination.
My best advice is for you to contact your plastic surgeon for a consultation and his (her) recommentatons.  If you are concerned, you should contact and visit the surgeon at your earliest convenience.
