My face was badly burned from RF Micro. Could Tretinoin contribute to the burns? I discontinued use 48 hrs prior (Photo)

Can Tretinoin increase the risk of burns from RF Microneedling? I had RFM several times. I’ve never been so badly burned as this last procedure. I discontinued Tretinoin 48 hrs prior to the treatment Wondering if the burn were caused by not discontinuing sooner or if the machine was off-label, Chinese sourced (Groupon). Thank you!

Your fillers and botox take 3-5 days to settle so that is the minimum amount of time you should wait before getting secret RF. I would give it a week or two to play it safe and avoid migration of filler or botox.

Stretch marks are very difficult to get good results. Microneedle with RF in combination of PRP injections offer a good option. The needle can go up to 3mm deep and on high setting will create scabbing but not likely to cause scarring. expect 30-50% improvement with 3-5 treatments.
