I have used both technologies you mention for several years in clinic for multiple indications and find Endymed Intensif to be a more precise, more effective and well tolerated technology for scars & striae.
You would benefit from cryolipolysis in the area (to reduce pinchable fat tissue bulk) -after which you may choose ultrasound for skin tightening if at all required, ensuring that treatment depth is adequately deep. The treating doctor should be able to explain and show you cartridges of various depth in use. Proceeding with ultrasound alone would be sub optimal.
You may safely proceed with either / both treatments but must avoid the chin and general area of the implant itself.
The facial applicator works very well for tightening and rejuvenation over the hands - a series of treatments is advised.
