HiMariettaMom. This is a question I hear often at my practice. When I createcustomized treatment plans for patients, I work with them to scheduleCoolSculpting sessions as conveniently as possible. That being said, a secondCoolSculpting treatment in the same area should be scheduled at least a monthafter the first one. If it is not clear that a second treatment is needed, it isusually a good idea to wait about 3 months so you can see the results of thefirst treatment before making a decision.
It is recommended you wait at least 3 months before re treating an area. Best of luck. Regards,
When helping patients address their shape with CoolSculpting we generally recommend that all patients be treated twice in each area in order to see best results, as a result we bundle the first treatment with the second treatment and allow for a significant discount on the second treatment in order to help ensure that patients see the most efficacy possible from the technology. We deliver re-treatment 30 days after the primary treatment inorder to help show best results by 3-4 months from the original treatment date.
Most people wait between 6-12 weeks between sessions. You can do sooner if you have no more bruising, swelling or pain. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question, we can re-treat the same area of CoolSculpting at 30 days. Nine out of ten patients see results with one treatment, but additional improvement will usually be seen with additional treatments.
There is no exact interval of time between CoolSculpting treatments to the same area. The decision is based on the preference of the physician performing the treatments. My personal preference is to wait at least 2 months in between treatments, but I have performed them as soon as month later.
Dear Mariettamom:I know of instances where two treatments were actually performed on the same day on the same area with good results, but given that this method has not been studied, we generally recommend that at least 4 weeks go by before the second treatment. You would want all post-treatment swelling (even subtle, subclinical swelling) to have resolved completely so that the largest possible number of fat cells can be taken up into the applicator. For any patient who might get optimal results with a single treatment, it is best to wait for the full four months before deciding if a second treatment will be necessary for an even better result. All the best,Dr. Clark
We inform patients that it takes a minimum of 12 weeks to see the full results from Coolsculpting. However, when we know that an individual is going to need additional treatments in the same area, we perform these at 4-6 weeks. This time frame is necessary to let the active inflammatory phase resolve before repeating the process. Any time after this period is reasonable to do further treatments.
We usually know ahead of time that a particular area will require two treatments for full correction. In that case, the second treatment of that same area is scheduled 1 month after the initial treatment. If you're not sure you'll need a second treatment of that same area, then it makes sense to wait 3-4 months for the final results of the first treatment.Best wishes,Dr. Kavali
It takes 6-8 weeks to see the results from your Coolsculpting procedure. Many physicians advise patients to wait 2-3 months time between treatments so they can see their results before their second round. Having said that, there is no set time requirement to wait between sessions.
Thank you for your question. Because CoolSculpting can cause temporary numbness, I would recommend waiting a few weeks before exposing that area to other cold temperatures. Regards,

Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is a very safe procedure. However, all treatments have potential side effects, although with Coolsculpting they are very unlikely to occur. Your treating physician should discuss all potential side effects and expectations before your procedure. I hope...
