Do you have a recommendation on where to get lymphatic massages after your TT in Atlanta? And when you can you start it? (photo)

I am about to have my TT on Tuesday the 10th of November in Atlanta (see before pic!). I am trying to figure out a plan on recovery and understand a massage can help with swelling? When is it best to start a massage regime and who to trust? It seems like your body would be very sore. I remember after my c-sections, I didn't want to touch that scar for months! What would you recommend to your patients?

Massage is helpful after liposuction, but not after a tummy tuck.  After a tummy tuck I want the abdominal skin to stick down and heal.  Massaging the abdomen will only prevent adhesion and promote a seroma formation.  I never have my patients massage their abdomen after a tummy tuck.

You will be best off obtaining this type of advise directly from your plastic surgeon who may or may not recommend lymphatic massage at all.  For example, this is not something we recommend to our tummy tuck patients in our practice.  Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
