It all depends on the depth of the derma pen. If recovery is bad with your derma pen, I would suggest a more refined procedure such as Ematrix RF and fractional Clear and Brilliant laser.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

Superficial scars only need 0.5 mm, deep fibrosis needs 3.5 or more mm . Really depends on the scar thickness. Touch and visual clues are important to determine  what is the optimal depth. Davin Lm
