I just used the Dermapen for the first time and stupidly mistook a marking on the back of the pen as the depth indicator instead of the correct indicator on the front on the pen, so I had the depth settings WAY too high. I used a 2.10 on my cheeks and chin (meant to use 1.0). Also used a 1.6 depth for my forehead (meant to be 0.5) and a 1.4 very briefly under my eyes (meant to be 0.25). How much damage should I expect to see and is there anything I can do at this point to mitigate the damage?
I am frustrated because I've read that dermaroller causes micro tearing and then read its Dermapen that does that. It's like the manufacturers of theses devices are attacking each other. I had 3 treatments with dermaroller now switched to dermapen and had 5 treatments no results at all so far I'm trying to treat laser damage that caused masses of pinholes in the skin. Worried now I'll make things worse please advise
I am convinced this is from dermapen treatment. I had about 7 microneedling sessions done in 2016, fell pregnant late 2017 and gave birth may 2018. Due to the delayed effects of micro I am convinced this is from dermapen. I had baby smooth skin before, only 3 small scars. I have mild-moderate comodone acne but never scarred. What is the solution to this type of scarring? Fine lines, running tracks, pigment, textural and tone change.
4 months ago i got Dermapen with PRP, 1.5 needles were used. It was fir antiaging purposes, no acne or scars. I had two sessions scheduled 2 months apart. Today my face is full of scars and holes, fine lines on the left side mainly where i felt more pain. The attached photos show only part of the damage. Is there anything i could do to restore my skin to how it was? I have never done lasers or peels and i am reluctant to try them as i have read they can melt face fat. Thanks a lot for help!
