My incision would not stay closed on one side so ps took out implant and I waited 6 miserable months and he replaced. 10 days out the incision opened up again so he took out implant and replaced with a new one lifted off the stitches with aloderm. This side looks terrible. It doesn't match the other side. Will the aloderm dissolve and slow the implant to settle like the other side?? I look awful!!

Answer: Alloderm healing I appreciate your concern about the Alloderm based reconstruction you have had. Typically alloderm integrates with the tissue rather than separating from it. It does not dissolve but becomes part of the body tissue. It is typically used to support any reconstruction particularly in the lower part of the breast which is deficient in muscle. From what you describe it appears that there may have been some infection with the original reconstruction which resulted in the need for the implant to be removed. This was then corrected by your surgeon on two further occasions.I would leave matters alone at the moment and use a good sports bra to support the breasts and give it time to settle. Reassessment in a few months will help give a better idea on how to move things forwards. If balancing up is required than you can surely undergo a much smaller procedure at that stage if at all required.I wish you luck in the healing process and your final outcome.
