Exilis elite for skin tightening, is a recommended treatment, with less pain that ulthera, even if you need more than one therapies? Thank you in advance.
Answer: Exilis for skin tightening The Exilis Elite is the newer hybrid treatment modality which simultaneously utilizes radiofrequency and ultrasound energy to heat and tighten the skin. It works not only on the face, but on the body as well. It is very effective in achieving expected outcomes, however its very important that patients be well hydrated before the treatment. I advise patients to drink plenty of water before and after each treatment. Exilis is usually performed in a series of 3-6 treatments one to two weeks apart, depending on the amount of laxity present, the patients age, and general health status. It is less painful than Ulthera and easier to tolerate. Ulthera utilizes high-focused ultrasound and is also very effective. Unlike Exilis, Ulthera requires some medication to make the treatment comfortable.

Answer: Exilis `Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. Depending on the area of concern, Exilis requires a series of treatments every 7-10 days. Once the treatment plan is completed, results will continue to improve over the course of 3 months. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Exilis vs Ulthera? Exilis is an evolving technology that tightens the skin in a comfortable fashion but takes 3 to 6 treatments, each about an hour, to see the best results. The newest machine, Exilis Ultra 360, combines both radiofrequency and high frequency ultrasound to give a very good, comfortable, effective and safe treatment. The Ulthera device uses focused high frequency ultrasound (a small difference from the Exilis). It is certainly more painful and has a small risk of nerve damage which the Exilis does not have. Most patients are told that one Ulthera treatment will be enough.I have been doing radiofrequency treatments for over 12 years, first with 2 different Thermage machines and then with each generation of Exilis (now the fourth generation) so we have a lot of experience with this technology. In my office we use the newest Exilis Ultra 360 and have had very nice results.

Answer: Exilis for skin tightening We have been a fan of Exilis for skin tightening for seven years. The most up-to-date model of Exilis is the Exilis Ultra, which has both radiofrequency and ultrasound tightening. While results improve with each treatment, we feel that each procedure gives a measurable result, especially the Ultra model. This is a great choice for skin tightening. All the best, Dr. Sawyer
