Would Profound laser or Renuvion help grooves in neck after neck lift? (Photo)

Question

I got a lower facelift and necklift 7 months ago after being insecure about my turkey neck after a 60 lb weight loss. It was one of my biggest insecurities. Now I have this groove in the middle with hanging skin on the sides of it that looks awful. I hate to do surgery again, I saved and worked overtime for 6 months to pay for it.

I do not use Renuvion, but I do not believe that Profound RF will correct your concerns.  Speak with yuor facelfit surgeon and ask if they can do a "tuck-up" procedure under local anesthesia in the office to minimize costs.  I hope that you are able to have your neck problem corrected. I don't believe that any less invasive treatment will work for you.  It is difficult to tell what happened from a single picture and without a consultation and a possible review of the operative report, but it may be that some of the sutures that the surgeon placed may have separated or come loose.  Most surgeons will revise the surgery without a professional fee, and it may be possible, depending on the patient and the consultation, to perform a revision necklift under local in the office

I would recommend that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon. This is going to need a revision, and if your surgeon feels they are capable of doing the revision, this should be at no cost to you. I don't think any non-surgical modality is going to improve this much. Your platysma muscles need to be treated again surgically to improve this.
