I have a sebaceous cyst on my left cheek and got a steroid/cortisone injection in November to make it smaller with the hopes of it healing on its own, it is March now and there's an indentation (atrophy) on my cheek and the cyst is still there. I am seeing my dermatologist next week because I want to do an excision and get the cyst removed this time (should've done it during first visit). If I get it removed, is it possible for the indentation to heal on its own?
