Inflamed vermilion border of top lip (see pictures). Long history of seborrheic dermatitis & rosacea on other parts of face (i.e., above top lip, T-zone, cheeks) treated with ketoconazole 2% lotion and corticosteroid lotion, but vermilion border has never been specifically treated/targeted. Curious of possible causes and any/all available treatments. Thanks.

You need PicoSure Focus lens as opposed to regular PicoSure. This treatment is amazing and does treat melasma, but it will take a few treatment sessions as well. To find an expert in your area I recommend visiting Picosure.com or cynosure.com and locating a physician near you....
Lasers are safe, radiofrequency waves are typically as well but a lot of companies will say to avoid treatment right on top of the metal. Best, Dr. Emer.
Its important to avoid future damage to the skin. Prep the area with Melarase AM and Melarase PM, followed by light PDL to reduce the redness. To soothe your skin, apply Elevase Moisture Booster twice daily.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
