I had areola reduction surgery on my left breast to address asymmetry that really bothered me. It's been almost a year post-op and my left areola doesn't contract like the right. They don't match because the right one is usually a bit contracted. I was tested and did not lose sensation on the left. I am disappointed with the outcome right now as greater symmetry was my goal. I'm due to have the right one slightly enlarged with a fat transfer. Will that help? What would you recommend?

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Every surgeon has a preferred technique that he/she uses. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and...
These small bumps are common after pregnancy and are normal. There is no treatment for them but they are not a cause for concern. Pigmentation of the areola can fluctuate with hormonal changes.
