In the case of hyperhidrosis (or excessive sweating) - I would stick specifically to injectable neurotoxin. While this is found in aqua gold, treating excessive sweating in the underarm area requires a specific amount of neurotoxin injected in specific locations. You could use aqua gold as an adjunct therapy to help with underarm skin appearance though!
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for hyperhidrosis. Botox works well for improving underarm sweating, however if you have significant amounts you may need oral treatments like glycopyrrolate. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Yes the Aquagold fine touch device is an excellent way to deliver botox for hyperhydrosis in the axilla. This device can be used in other areas of the body such as the palms and soles of the feet to treat excessive sweating.
Thanks for your question. Aqua gold fine touch can indeed be used very successfully to help with excessively sweating underarm/armpits.I recommend you see a Board certified Plastic surgeon or Dermatologist that offers this treatment.Best wishes,Marcus
Aquagold can be used to deliver botox across the entire axilla into the dermis and it is an extraordinary way to reduce sweating under the arms. All the best from Gig Harbor Washington
Yes it can. In Australia this procedure is heavily subsidised under Medicare if it is performed by a Specialist Dermatologist. 3 treatments per year under Medicare and PBS subsidy. I do use the Aquagold Fine Touch, mainly for palmar and plantar HH but it can be used for Axillary sweating. I learned this technique from Dr Steve Weiner who is a prominent Specialist on this forum. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Founder sweat free Australia.
The needle depth is approximately 1mm and is too shallow to cause occlusion. It is used for hydration, to improve texture, to brighten, and shrink pores.
I'm sorry you are having this aggravation over your prior Aquagold treatment. An Aquagold treatment employs gold-plated microinfusion needles in order to perform microneedling, as well as to infuse specific agents into the skin (in this case the diluted Juvederm filler)--with the intent to...
Thank you for a great question. Aquagold is a superficial microneedling therapy. While no procedure is completely risk free, superficial injections theoretically cannot lead to blindness as important vessels are typically located much deeper. The most likely HA complication with Aquagold can be...
The under eye area when treated with an AquaGold infusion, my go to filler is typically a choice of Volbella, SkinVive, or Revanesse Versa. All three of these would be beneficial because they are thin, hyaluronic acid based fillers.
Microinfusions, also known as microinjections or mesotherapy, have been growing in popularity as a way to deliver small amounts of Botox and filler to the skin. While there is some evidence to suggest that microinfusions can be effective for a variety of cosmetic concerns, more research is...
The answer is YES, but its very temporary. Very low risk as its superficial and nothing like traditional Dermapen. One is stamping one is gliding. So, it will work in good hands, it will improve slightly for a few weeks. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
