when I was little I fell and busted my chin on concrete and didn't seem bad enough to do anything about so the scrape healed and I'm not sure if that could be the possible cause but I'm curious to if there is a treatment to even my chin out preferably to match the smaller side and if so how well would it be treated and how much would the cost be

There can be a fair amount of swelling after a chin implant, which will gradually resolve over several weeks to months. I recommend following up with your surgeon. If your implant is asymmetrical, it can be re-positioned with a surgical procedure. I hope this helps.

If you are interested in improving your bite as well as your short chin then orthognathic surgery with a smaller sliding genioplasty would be the correct choice. If you do not want to change your bite, then a large sliding genioplasty alone can be done.
