Hello, I’m a 33 year old female with textured skin, especially on the chin area. I was recommended a Deep Sea Peel. Will this be enough to address my skin concerns? Would microneedling, or laser treatment be a better option? Thank you

Answer: Best ways to address skin texture on the chin When it comes to addressing skin texture, the best solution would be a procedure that creates controlled injury on the skin, such as microneedling or laser resurfacing. Which option to select is determined by both downtime and budget. Most laser treatments will tend to be more expensive, with a longer downtime associated with the procedure. A CO2 laser would be most effective in treating the skin with a downtime of 7- 14 days with a single treatment where as microneedling would be a series of at least 3 treatments with a down time of 3-5 days.

Answer: Microneedling, botox Microneedling works great for skin texture issues while botox will help relax muscle in the chin that causes texture irregularity called peau d orange or orange peel like skin. Many have both issues. Acne that affects the chin may have to be treated separately. All in all combination therapy works best.
