I recently started to get a cover up on a 6 year old tattoo that was pretty faded. After getting the lower portion I instantly regretted it. I feel hopeless. Do you think it would be possible to get rid of the dense line work?0

It will take a series of treatments either through laser or microneedling to see any difference. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. If it's new, you'll want to wait until it's completely healed (around 4-6 weeks) Best, Dr. Emer
When I have a white ink oxidize to a dark color I treat that oxidized area look black and use my Q YAG. I find most of the time it removes the color but takes multiple sessions probably more than if it started as black ink
