Basically I have scarring from tattoo removal, I’m having trouble removing it cuz of the scarring, should I keep going with the removal if im not really seeing any results? Will it just take longer?? I tried microneedling once a month ago but it didn’t really help, and I’ve just tried a laser to help the scar tissue.. but yeah I just want it gone so I wondered if you have any advice on what would help get rid of it please? thankyouu

Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal Facts--Takes a series of treatments
When I have a white ink oxidize to a dark color I treat that oxidized area look black and use my Q YAG. I find most of the time it removes the color but takes multiple sessions probably more than if it started as black ink
It will take a series of treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. If it's new, you'll want to wait until it's completely healed (around 4-6 weeks) Best, Dr. Emer
