Should I be concerned about my recent treading procedure? (Photos)

3 days ago I had threading done in-between my eye brows. The doctor recommended this over Botox. This is a photo during the procedure. Is this a safe place to use these? I'm having some increased pain and some swelling. If need be is there something I can have done to remove or dissolve these threads?

Thank you for your question. Seeing as you only had the procedure three days ago, pain and swelling in the treatment area is quite normal. This will subside with time, and the threads will help to stimulate collagen growth, so the results should last longer than Botox or other fillers. If you have pain and swelling after two or more weeks, I suggest you schedule a follow up appointment with your doctor.

Threading can be done in this area and can be effective and longer lasting.
Depending on the thread size and if the thread is cogged or barbed, how deep the medical professional placed the threads  will contribute to the amount of swelling.  Smooth threads can run in size from a 27 to 31 gauge thread.  based on the placement of your threads they appear to be smooth threads.  Smooth threads add a small amount of volume and over time will build collagen.  They will resorb (if they are PDO material) in 4 to six months
