Is it common to get veneers on just my top two front teeth?

There seems to be a large discrepancy between the size and shape of your upper front teeth. My recommendation would be to have your dentist perform a wax up of your upper front to create ideal shape and form so you can preview what it would take to maximize the esthetic result. I would also suggest bleaching your teeth so as to be able to lighten and or match the adjacent teeth.

As long as you are happy with the color and appearance of your other teeth, it is not uncommon to have veneers placed on just the two front teeth.  To get the best color match, you dentist needs to communicate with his laboratory by providing photos of you teeth before they are prepared for the veneers and after they are prepared.  The lab technician may even come in to your dentist's office to take a custom shade.  In this way, you will be assured of a good color match.
