Thanks for your query. Minoxidil is a potassium channel opener, causing hyperpolarization of cell membranes. Hypothetically, by widening blood vessels and opening potassium channels, it allows more oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the follicle. This may cause follicles in the telogen phase to shed, which are then replaced by thicker hairs in a new anagen phase, thus helps in hair loss. On the other hand procapil also helps in hair loss; it contains enzymes and extracts of plants which stimulate hair re growth. It can be used indefinitely for results. Hope it helps.All The Best

These two medications work very differently but neither of them have been found significant for reversing  genetic hair loss
