Hello Danny P,Mobility (looseness) of teeth can be caused by traumatic occlusion or periodontal disease or both simultaneously. Whatever the reason, the cause needs to be identified and treated. Crooked teeth can be difficult to clean which will lead to periodontal disease. Crook ed teeth also cause mal-occlusion which leads to traumatic occlusion. If there is already periodontal disease present , it must be treated and stabilized first, then you need to address the crowding orthodontically. If you only have a traumatic occlusion, you will need to straighten the teeth and balance you occlusion so that cleaning will be easier and periodontal disease will be less likely to develop. Good luck in your quest for a straight, healthy non-traumatic, fully functioning smile. From the limited photo views, it looks like you could be treated using Invisalign.Douglas Jopling, DDSDallas, TX area
Loose teeth can because of over crowded teeth but it needs to be evaluated not only clinically but also x-ray evaluation has to be done.
Hi there,There are a few reasons teeth can become loose. One is periodontal disease, another is when the teeth are crowded or hit in an inappropriate way causing excessive force on certain teeth. I would recommend seeing a dentist for an overall exam to determine the cause of them feeling loose. Unfortunately the reason can't be determined from photographs.Good luck!
Please see your dentist who treated you as you said you are scheduled to. It doesn't sound as if anything should be causing a gap under the circumstances you described.Douglas Jopling, DDSDallas, TX area
