i have one front tooth that in disolered very yellow it really stands out from the rest of my teeth because yellow . My dentist says that it is a dead tooth and there is nothing he can do about the yellownish of the tooth he suggested I have it crowned with a porcilan tooth is this the best way to go about this ?

In nature teeth are not the same color from top to bottom. They are usaully slightly more color saturated at the area near the gums and slightly lighter in the area away from the gums.
