Does Dermapen microneedling actually work in scars treatment?

I have a normotrophic scar on my lower eyelid that is 3.5 months since injury. Lenght of the scar is 1 cm. Will Dermapen help me to fade the scar or it is useless?

Miocroneedling works very well to break down scar tissue.  In our office, we like to add your own plasma to enhance your result and according to how bad the scar is we may recommend a series of 3 or 4, doing a procedure a month.   Patients see a difference  in most cases even after one treatment.Hope this answer is helpful to you.

Yes, micro needling is a great option for scar revision. This treatment works by breaking up the scar and promoting collagen and skin remodeling. It may take several treatments to minimize the scar to the desired results but we have seen amazing results with this type of treatment. Yes it could work, it depends on the scar type. If its not hypertrophic as you described, it can improve things. For scar revision its often a combination of energy based micro needling, PRP, Co2 laser, 1927 Fraxel and most importantly simple silicone dressings and SPF that can help.
