I had DIEP flap d/t BRCA 15 mos. ago. (no cancer) I noticed telangiectasia on left chest near sternum where rib was removed after the surgery in 2-3 spots (never had this pre op). It is still there. PS said this is common after breast recon. But, I am not finding this is true anywhere I look on line. Question: is this PS lying to me? He has lied to me once or twice before. I am going elsewhere for a revision. I also have Upper Pole deformity. He said this is because I didn't have enough fat.
