How long after Breast Reduction surgery is a bump or hit to the chest not dangerous?

I am two weeks post op. I have a 90 lb dog that thinks she's a puppy and jumps on me and her paws bump me in the breasts when she does. I haven't been around her during this time, only when she's on her leash. I'm wondering when can I resume contact with her? If she were to jump on me when is it safe to do so?

I think two weeks it's still too early. However, since I don't know the details of your surgery (incision, weight removed, healing progress), I cannot answer your question. I would guess may be at a month, but your plastic surgeon is the best resource for this question. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo

Breast reduction like any breast surgery has incision lines that must heal; we advise patients to not engage in any physical activities for the first two weeks. After one month, you can do anything you want. Hope this helps.
