I would be very nervous if my patient got hair relaxation after a hair transplant that I performed. I tell patients that the transplanted hair is permanent, meaning it will not fall out on its own. But it is NOT indestructible. Meaning if you continue to do the things that damaged the initial hair in the first place (hair relaxation, tight braids, etc...) then you can repeat the same damage to the transplanted hair and lose that hair as well. Likely if you do it once or twice it will be fine but chronically over long periods of time it could fall out again. And then you will need another transplant. I hope that helps...
