Three weeks post op, I have very hard band like area, below my incision line especially on pubic area, and numbness upper thighs, that comes and goes. Also getting little bruises in the hardest areas, what can help this hardness go away?

That feeling like a hard line, like a rope, rigid and thick is completely normal. That represents the scar tissue and will be softer over the months.You can not do anything right now. When your doctor allow you to do it, you may start massaging and will improve a lot.Be patience.Dr. Cardenas

You are still in the early recovery stage and this band you are feeling most likely is scar tissue and will get better over time as the swelling goes down.   Speak with your doctor about massaging the area and make sure to continue wearing your compression garment.
