I would encourage you to go ahead and get a crown on that tooth, if indeed, it is cracked.  If you go with bonding (to save money), you can risk fracturing the tooth more, then needing to have the tooth extracted and replaced with a 3-unit bridge or an implant.  I know that crown may...

It is unfortunate that this keeps happening.  There is a good chance that you may need to considering getting a porcelain veneer.  Speak to your dentist about this option and if it might be  right for you.  Good luck
