The extra fold on an inner lid is called an epicanthal fold, and there are a number of surgical treatments that can be done in order to reduce it or reshape it. Historically, one approach was the Mustarde' jumping man incision. But most Epicanthal folds are normal variants, and familial traits....

This should not concern you at all. Some physicians place these while the incisions heal. The strips will fall off in a day or two.
