Can Air Get Caught in the Pocket After Removing Breast Implants?

Question

I've just had my implants removed from under the muscle due to one deflating. Last night while putting on my compression garment I heard a noise in my chest and felt something at the same time. It's not painful, just strange. If it is air, what happens then?

This Is perfectly normal and will disappear in the next few weeks. It is from air and fluid (irrigation, local anesthetic, serum, etc) in the pocket which will be naturally absorbed over time.

It is not unusual for some air to be  present in the breast implant pocket after breast augmentation surgery or after removal of breast implants.  The air  will be  absorbed  in the course of the week after the procedure performed.

Yes it is possible to have air trapped in the pocket. The body will absorb the air. These pockets usually fill up with fluid which is eventually absorbed

It is very common to have air trapped in the pocket with placement of implants and removal.  Your body will absorb it over the first week after surgery.  I hope this helps you.

Yes, air is in the field and when the suturing is done some remains inside. The body will absorb the air usually over the course of 7 to 10 days.
