Can you add volume to buccal fat pad?

I lost about 15 pounds recently and I think my buccal fad pad has become hollow. I have lost volume in other areas, but this area particular is causing me to look hard. Can volume be added to this area? If so, what procedure would be beneficial?

I do a lot of fat grafting and liposuction and have never had an issue with uncontrolled fat grafting.  You want to find someone who does the most up to date harvesting techinques and uses PRP to prolong the survival of the fat.  Also, someone who can fix the fat grafting if there was...

All different types of fillers can be used to treat this, I like Radiesse or Bellafill but fat can be used if it is injected properly with a cannula. I suggest finding a well trained physician for this. Best, Dr. Emer.

It is likely that nothing externally will affect the fat injections, but I tell all my patients to wait a little bit of time before doing any external heating devices to limit the chance of poor take after fat injections.  Although if the energy is used properly, you should only get skin...

I suggest going to a facial contouring specialist for fat transfer as the results are long term and if not done properly and well you can get poor results.  Find an expert who uses PRP to get the ultimate results.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Fat can disappear but often not fully if the physician is well trained and uses the most advanced techniques for harvesting (I use water assisted which is very gentle) and I add PRP to the fat to prolong its effectiveness.  you should get about 50-70% improvement at 3-6 months or longer...

I add PRP to all my fat before injecting and this helps survival a lot.  I suggest avoiding pressure to the are and any heating procedures.  Local injections of PRP may be helpful and can be offered.  I suggest going to a well trained physician for treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.
