How Soon After a VI Peel Can I Shave my Beard Area?

I am a 37 year old male with normal skin. I had a VI peel four days ago and I'm wondering when I can start shaving again. I'm in my second day of peeling.

I usually advise patient to wait until all the peeling subsides, which for a ViPeel is usually 1 week after. Even then, I would recommend a light shave to ensure there is no additional irritation to the skin.  I also always advise patient to test a small area first and see how their skin tolerates it. As long as there is no major redness, irritating, stinging, burning, etc- they should be ok

You should wait about 10-14 days to shave your beard area, depending on your peeling. Be careful, the area will still be sensitive after the peel during shaving.

You should wait about ten days after a ViPeel to make sure all peeling has subsided.  You can then shave at that time, using caution with sensitivity to your skin.
