Does Accutane Cause Heart Palpitations or Arrhythmia?

I am on my third week of Accutane (40mg). So far, I haven't had any bothersome side effects outside of the standard dryness, chapped lips and maybe a little more tired than usual here and there. In the last 3 days, I noticed when I lay down to sleep that my heart beat seemed to be fluttering or skipping/doubling a beat a beat. I have had this maybe a handful of times in the past, so I brushed it off. Today, it seems off and on for 4-5 hours so far. Is this related, and normal in any cases?

You don't want to take Vitamin A because Accutane is a derivative of Vitamin A. A regular multivitamin is fine. You also don't want to take anything else that will make you sun sensitive, like niacin. Regular multivitamins are fine and what I recommend. You can absolutely do Botox and fillers;...

You can stop the medication. But I would tell you that you need to make sure you are eating a big meal when you take isotretinoin. If you aren't doing that, it's not being absorbed properly.

You need to consult your dermatologist and possibly a neurologist. Seizures are noted as a side effect of Accutane, but they are also noted as a side effect of things like Advil and Tylenol. So, it's hard to say if it was the Accutane, or maybe the heat, drinking, other substances?, weird...
